Thokkudu Laddu / తొక్కుడు లడ్డు

Bandar Laddu/Thokkudu laddu

Ingredients 

  • Besan - 2 cups
  • oil - For deep fry
  • Jaggery - 1 cup
  • sugar - 1 cup
  • ghee


Method
 
1.Take besan into a bowl and add enough water to make it a stiff dough.

2.Heat a deep pan then add oil for deep fry.

3.When the oil is hot, take a Muruku maker/sev machine, place dough in it, press it in hot oil and fry
   it until it becomes crispy but has not changed the color.

4.Follow step 3 with the remaining dough.

5.After all murukulu gets cool, crumble with fingers and break into pieces.

6.Transfer it into a mixie jar and grind to a fine powder.

7.If you find any pieces in the powder then again blend it and make a very fine powder.

8.Now add sugar and jaggery into a bowl then pour some water and make syrup. 

9.Add this syrup into the above-prepared mixture and mix it well then allow it to cool.

10.Apply some ghee/oil to palms and make round balls.

11.That's it Thokkudu laddu is ready.
